Institute of Korean Language Education Admission Announcement 

for 2025 Spring Semester (March)

 

1. Admission Schedule

 

A. Application Period: November 11, 2024 (Mon) – November 22, 2024 (Fri)

The application period is subject to change in circumstances.

Please check for additional application periods.

 

Additional Application Period(Tentative): November 25, 2024 (Mon) – November 29, 2024 (Fri)

 

B. Document and Interview Review Schedule (Tentative): November 25, 2024 (Mon) - November 29, 2024 (Fri)

Individual notification for document review

Interviews are available for those who pass the document review.

 

C. Notification of Admission Results (Tentative): December 2, 2024 (Mon) - December 6, 2024 (Fri)

 

Admission could be canceled if additional documents are not submitted or other qualifications are not met.

 

2. Eligibility (Check attached documents)

High school graduates or those with equivalent academic qualifications.

Those who can obtain a language training or study abroad visa according to the Immigration Control Act in Korea.

 

3. Application Documents (Check attached documents)

A. Application form

 

B. Proof of Highest Educational Qualification (graduation certificate and transcript: necessary documents to confirm academic ability, check additional requirements by country)

 

C. Proof of Financial Capability (check additional requirements by country, if parents are financial guarantors, submit family relationship proof documents)

 

D. One copy of the passport

 

E. Four photos (3X4) with a white background: attach to the application form and for future visa application documents (jpg file submission required)

 

F. Application fee: 50,000 KRW

 

All documents must be submitted in original by mail or in person.

 

Documents must be in Korean or English (documents in other languages must be translated into Korean or English).

 

4. Application Procedure and Visa Issuance Steps (Check attached documents)

 

A. Submit the application form, required documents, and payment within the application period (by mail or in person - initial scanned copy submission possible after email inquiry).

 

B. Individual notification of results only to those who pass the document review.

 

C. Payment of tuition and other fees in the applicant’s name.

 

D. After confirming payment, send the necessary documents for visa application to the applicant.

 

E. The applicant applies for a visa in their home country with the received documents.

 

F. Enter Korea according to the dormitory move-in date after obtaining a visa.

Take a level test and be assigned to a class.
